Are LED lights worth switching to?
Yes. LED lighting uses significantly less power than halogen or incandescent globes and lasts much longer, reducing both running and replacement costs.
Can outdoor lighting be installed on a timer or sensor?
Yes, all outdoor lighting we install is weatherproof and rated for outdoor and undercover use.
Can I add a dimmer to my existing lights?
Usually yes, but it depends on the fitting and globe. Not all lights are dimmable - and if you pair a dimmer switch with a non-dimmable globe, you'll get flickering, buzzing, or a shortened lifespan. We'll check compatibility before installing anything and recommend the right combination.
What's the difference between warm white and cool white?
Warm white (2700–3000K) gives a softer, more relaxed feel - better for living rooms, bedrooms, and outdoor entertaining. Cool white (4000K+) is crisper and better for task areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Most people mix both depending on the room.
